Hello. I'm Ann. Since you are considering allowing me to treat you with real needles rather than virtual ones, I thought you might want to know a little bit about me and about my credentials.  I hold a Master’s degree from the Traditional Acupuncture Institute (now TAI Sophia), one of the premier schools of acupuncture in the United States, and I am board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). 

In addition to practicing acupuncture, I am also a registered nurse who has worked for more than a decade in emergency medicine.  This background affords me an unusual fluency in the medicine of both East and West.

I hold a black belt in the Japanese martial art of Aikido and have taught and served on the board of Aikido in the Fan dojo.
